My name is Stanley Valenton and I am currently enrolled at Chapman University. I am pursuing a B.A. in Business with an emphasis on Marketing. I also am taking a cluster of classes in LGBTQ+ studies. I was born and raised in San Francisco, CA.
I am writing this blog in order to communicate with my Film, Gender, and Sexuality class. Although I do not have a strong background in analyzing films, I have always enjoyed watching all types of films especially Horror and coming-of-age movies. I watch these types of films for entertainment and to widen my perspective on the idea that the way people are raised can greatly affect who they become. I also enjoy watching films that provide visual stimulation through technicalities such as cinematography and editing. Overall, I look at every film with a fresh pair of eyes because there are always a new set of directors, editors, actors, etc. that provides the audience with a new story every time.
